VIP (Small Group) Tour of Reykjavík
VIP in Reykjavík: Very Icelandic People Only
ABOUT THE VIP (Small Group) Tour of Reykjavík
This tour is operated by our partner CityWalk.
Explore Reykjavík like a local, but better. This tours is your personal introduction to Iceland’s quirky capital, blending history, humour, and hidden gems in one compact adventure. Designed for travelers who want the stories behind the sights and a deeper connection with the city, this 2 to 2.5-hour walk keeps things intimate with groups of 10 people max.
Your journey begins at the top (literally) outside the stunning Hallgrímskirkja church. From there, it’s all downhill (in a good way) as your guide leads you through Reykjavík’s most iconic landmarks: the colorful Skólavörðustígur street, lively Laugavegur shopping strip, the modern Harpa Concert Hall, and the scenic Old Harbor. You’ll also visit Arnarhóll hill, the Parliament building, Lake Tjörnin, and even pop into City Hall (weather permitting).
Along the way, your guide will unpack centuries of Icelandic history, share local customs, point out unexpected street art, and give you insider recommendations on where to eat, drink, and soak up the Icelandic vibe.
This tour is a warm, witty welcome to Reykjavík, wrapped up in small-group intimacy and led by locals who know their stuff.
